UPK is a
state-funded program designed to prepare four-year-olds for
school. Research shows that children who attend pre-kindergarten
programs often perform well academically in elementary school.
UPK provides children with
early exposure to reading, math, science and social studies and
a chance to develop social skills in a carefully structured and
supervised environment. UPK offers high quality academic
programming, teachers, transportation, meals and snacks.
GASD has established UPK programs at the
