December News and Reminders

This month will be a busy one.  We will be making miniature "gingerbread" houses with Mrs. Mary Brusoe's help.  We will need everyone's help by bringing in selected candies to decorate with and $1.00 for supplies.  The date for this activity as well as what kind of candy your child needs to bring in will be announced shortly.

  On Thursday, December 22nd we will be having a Holiday Party  from 2:00 until 3:00.  During our party we will have a grab bag.  Boys will bring a wrapped gift for a boy and girls will bring a wrapped gift for a girl. 

We continue to go outdoors every day.  Please be sure that your child is warmly dressed with a coat/jacket, mittens/gloves, and a hat.  Be prepared for that first snowfall because we will be going out to create snowmen, snow angels, and forts, and children will need to wear snowpants and boots plus the other outerwear already noted.

Please remember to keep your child supplied with the kindergarten essentials...pencils, erasers, crayons, and especially glue sticks!

We hope that everyone is practicing letter formations, sounds, and high frequency words at home on a regular basis.  We can tell who is practicing!!
