Class News

• Snack Milk - Milk money will be collected every Friday.  The cost is $1.50 per week.  ($0.30 per day for short weeks.)  If you choose to purchase mid-morning milk, please send the money to school in an envelope labeled with your child's name, grade, and teacher.

• Snacks - A small block of time is reserved each day for your child to have a snack each day.  If you choose to send in a snack with your child, please be sure to make it a healthy snack.  Some suggestions include:  fruit, veggies, applesauce, yogurt, dry cereal, pretzels, crackers.  Please do not send in soda or candy.

• Transportation - Students are assigned to specific buses depending on where they live and space on the bus.  All changes must have prior approval from the transportation department.  If you need to change transportation arrangements for your child, please contact our office first.  For any other changes (ie:  your child is a bus student, but will be picked up on a particular day), please send a note in to school with your child.  If we don't have a note from home, we will send your child home in his/her normal manner.  For last minute changes, please call the school office.

• Absences - If your child is out sick, please send in an excuse explaining the reason for his/her absence upon returning to school.

• Homework Folders - Your child will be bringing a Homework Folder home every night, even if no written homework is being assigned.   Please be sure to check your child's Homework Folder for notes and notices coming home from school.  The Homework Folder should be returned to school each morning.
