Peer Leadership Group

SADD-Students against Destructive Decisions - involves doing alcohol/drug

 related prevention programs ie Grim Reaper before Prom time

Kids on the Block-large puppets that have 6 scenarios that are acted out for K-

6th grades. Includes drug/alcohol prevention, sexual abuse prevention, aids

 education, gang involvement, and vandalism.

Peer Educators- program teaching about peer pressure and smoking/alcohol

 prevention in all 3rd grades in GASD

Role Players-does a host of different scripts as needed

TATU Training-trains high school students to present a curriculum to 6-7th

 graders about not smoking

Day and Overnight Retreats- offers team building activities; leadership skill

 building; communication and problem solving skills
