9th Grade English Assignments

Due Monday, September 8th: Classroom policy signatures (parent and student) and class materials

Monday 9/8: No Homework (unless you owe signatures/materials)

9/10: Bring in writing folders and begin studying your notes. Quiz on Literary elements on Friday 9/12!

9/11: STUDY! Quiz Tomorrow on literary elements (Friday). Homework check: Complete crossword puzzle

9/15: Complete questions 1-7 in "Cask of Amontillado" study guide.

9/16: Complete 8-15 in study guide for "Cask of Amontillado"

9/17: Finish study guide #16-20. Quiz on "The Cask of Amontillado" on Friday 9/19.

JOURNAL PORTFOLIO ASSIGNMENT DUE ON FRIDAY 9/26. Each portfolio entry must be typed. This will count as a test/essay grade (40%).

9/24: Front page of "The Necklace" study guide

9/25: Study for quiz tomorrow! Portfolio due 9/26

9/29: 1-8 "Scarlet Ibis" study guide

9/30: Answer 9-25 in your study guide for "The Scarlet Ibis."

10/1: Answer 26-32 "The Scarlet Ibis"

10/3: Finish study guide, vocabulary review sheet, and short story chart
