Pre-K
library visit opens new worlds to young readers
Making books an exciting adventure for young students is the
first step towards creating great readers.
McNulty Academy's Pre-K classes made a trip to the Amsterdam
Library to learn more about how a library works. They
watched an "Arthur" video about a trip to a library,
listened to stories, colored pictures, and learned how to
check a book out of the library using a library card. With
help, they were able to find books of interest and look at
these while at the library. This trip helped our Pre-K
students learn more about The Amsterdam Library while
opening them up to the wonderful world of literature.
