The Walter Elwood Museum of the Mohawk
Valley is pleased to present its 12th Annual Winter Art
Show, featuring selections by more than 30 local, regional
and statewide artists.
The Winter Art Show
art show will feature artists who work with a variety of
media, such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pen & ink,
pencil, charcoal, ceramic, porcelain, sculpture, wood, mixed
media and photography. Many of the pieces on display will be
available for sale to the public.
An
opening champagne reception will be held at the museum on
Friday, March 7, from 5-8 p.m. The reception will feature
fine art, music by the Upper Catskill String Quartet, an
assortment of delicious foods, desserts and refreshments.
Admission is $4 per person. The Artists Co-Op gift shop will
be open during the reception and all items will be sold at a
10 percent discount. Scott Haefner, co-author of "Images of
America: Amsterdam" will be on hand to autograph copies of
his book.

Please pre-order tickets as soon as possible; a large crowd
is expected, with attendees from the Tri-County area as well
as the Capital Region, given the geographical range of
registered artists.
