Students can't get enough of Grammy Award-winning musical group

Most students usually look forward to the end of the school day, but that wasn’t the case recently when Alex Torres and his Latin Orchestra performed at McNulty Academy.

The Grammy-award winning musical group, which is based in Amsterdam, had students and staff dancing around the gymnasium and singing the song “La Bamba.” Students were having such a great time that many said they wished the concert could keep going.

The Latin-American-inspired music tied in well with the school’s international magnet school theme.
