Pre-kindergartners learn "What's in a
Bird's Nest?"
McNulty Academy’s pre-kindergartners
learned about birds and the nests they build.
The lesson was titled “What’s in a Bird’s
Nest?” and was presented to students by instructors from the
Scotia-Glenville Children’s Museum. The instructor taught
students about different kinds of birds and used small,
stuffed animals to illustrate the differences and
similarities among various birds. She also passed around
several real bird’s nests so students could see what they
look like.
Students then made their own bird’s nests
out of construction paper.
