The Amsterdam High School Marching Rams won first place at the 2021 Schenectady Gazette Holiday parade this year. This was the first year back after COVID canceled the annual parade last year. Section II Class A football has announced its 2021 Fall All-Stars. Jhai Vellon (Jr, Quarterback for the Amsterdam High School Rams) was named Offensive Player of the Year for all of Class A.
