Eleventh graders in the Smart Scholars program recently conducted a mock Career Fair at Amsterdam High School. Students researched various careers they were interested in pursuing, then created websites that included interviews, video clips, and pertinent information related to those careers. As “experts,” they shared their information with other students and even provided promotional materials. Smart Scholars is a program designed to assist under-represented students earn college credit through Fulton-Montgomery Community College while in high school.
