Amsterdam High School is excited to announce its annual Open House on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.  Based on response from a parent survey, parents will be allowed to visit their student’s teachers as they deem appropriate, and at their own pace rather than follow a restricted schedule.  Parents may arrive at any time during this two-hour window.  

Parents will be greeted at the door by administration and Guidance Office staff to obtain a packet of information and their child’s schedule.  They will then be able to navigate the building in order to connect with teachers and support staff at their leisure. While this evening is not intended for official parent-teacher conferences, parents can schedule meetings for a future date by completing a Parent Conference Request Form, which will be available in all classrooms.
