Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the closure of all GASD schools and offices, all Board of Education meetings will now be held remotely (no in-person audience) until further notice. Gov. Cuomo, by executive order, has made revisions to New York State’s Open Meeting Law to allow this change due to public health concerns surrounding large group gatherings.
Here is what you should know:
- Prior to each meeting the board agenda and pertinent documents will be posted as they always are on the district website under Board of Education (BoardDocs in right column).
- If you would like to address the board please email your comments to the District Clerk, Lorrie Schell, no later than 5 p.m. on the night of the meeting. Email her at firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name and contact information.
- All meetings will be recorded, upload to YouTube and the link posted to the Board of Education page for viewing online.
The next meeting of the GASD Board of Education will be held on April 15 at 6 p.m.
