Congratulations to Amsterdam High School’s Jackie Stanavich, who signed her National Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Division II Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Stanavich is a 5-foot-9 Rams senior guard/team captain and a member of the Class of 2021. A group of friends and family watched Jackie sign her letter on Nov. 19 at the Amsterdam High School gymnasium.
During her junior Rams season she averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds per game before getting injured. Her awards and honors include 2018 and 2019 1st Team All-League, 2019 Class A All-State (14th), and 2018 Class A All-State (Honorable Mention).
