The Greater Amsterdam School District welcomes Erik J.A. Morrison as its new Human Resources Supervisor. He began in this position on May 31.

Morrison comes to the district from the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) where he had worked in various roles since 2015 including Personnel Development & Improvement Generalist. WSWHE BOCES serves 31 component school districts and approximately 38,000 students in its supervisory area with more than 1,000 employees.

Morrison earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Notre Dame de Namur University with a concentration in Human Resource Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College. He is a professional member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and has done volunteer work with Skidmore College, the United Way, American Red Cross and Saratoga Book Festival.
