Lynch Literacy Academy Band students spent the majority of the year learning their instruments virtually. Some LLA students also chose to learn extra music with Amsterdam High School Band members and high school band director, Mrs. Wilary, for virtual meets and recording. All pieces were either recorded at home on their instrument or created electronically using the program, Soundtrap.

Soundtrap Compositions

Students created various online compositions this year using Soundtrap. They gained experience with technology by creating advertisements, recording themselves playing, and learning about podcasting.

The music selections listed are from a project students did for the Thanksgiving season in which they had to create a piece that “expressed hope and gratitude.”
