Rosanne Lybolt, an Instructional Coach at Marie Curie Institute, has been named 2020 Collaborative Teacher of the Year by the HFM BOCES School Library System.

Lybolt was nominated for the award by MCI media specialist Laura Campagna for her “enthusiastic” collaboration with Campagna in the library with her students. Lybolt exhibited excellence in working collaboratively with the library media specialist to integrate information skills into the classroom curriculum and use resources and services of the library media to enhance student learning.

“Rosanne is a friend of the school library,” Campagna said in her nomination letter. “She works collaboratively with the Media program to give students many educational opportunities.”

Some of those opportunities included helping to organize Science Week, a Skype visit from a scientist, bringing Clever to grade 1-2 students and coordinating author visits to the school last year.
