McNulty Academy celebrated Read Across America Day, on the day of the nationwide celebration, Tuesday, March 2. McNulty celebrated in a variety of ways: teachers dressing up, wearing Dr. Seuss pins and enjoying some treats.
Classrooms welcomed guest readers who read favorite books, classic and contemporary. Some readers read virtually, while others visited from other classrooms.

- Board of Education President Dr. Nellie Bush (virtually) who read with her daughter Kristina Murray (AIS Math teacher- a three time reader)

- The University of Albany collaborated with our school to have a guest reader, softball player Katie Falotico, who read to all virtual students K-5
