Ms. Kahan’s fifth grade class at Tecler Elementary School got together with its kindergarten buddy class (Mrs. Duchessi’s class) last week to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with some green eggs and ham. The students predicted whether or not they would like it, they tried it, they drew what their faces looked like when they tried it and then they wrote about the experience. Then we used huge chart paper and post its to graph their overall feelings about green eggs and ham.
