Help the tigers! That’s the motto of Mr. Brown’s second grade class at Tecler Elementary School. The class was motivated to take action while working in their nonfiction unit of study. Students learned information about tigers and their habitats from multiple sources. After weeks of study, the class was not ready to simply move on from the tigers, but rather wanted to help them. Students are now working to collect donations, which will go to the World Wildlife Fund, to save tigers.
