Barkley Elementary 2026-27 School Supply Lists

Barkley Elementary families can find the 2026-27 school supply lists below. Please review the appropriate grade-level or classroom list for your child before the start of the school year.

Pre-K

Must-Have Supplies

  • One backpack large enough to fit a folder without bending it

  • One plastic two-pocket folder

  • One reusable water bottle

  • One box of tissues

  • Two rolls of paper towels

  • One or more packages of unscented baby wipes

  • One extra change of clothes to keep in your child’s cubby at school

  • Sneakers to be worn or brought to school every day

Please note: Students do not need a crayon box, pouch or notebooks of any kind. If you choose to purchase child-safe scissors, please keep them at home for supervised use and practice.

  • Ziploc bags — gallon or quart size

  • Black, fine-tip dry erase markers preferred

  • Elmer’s Squeeze white liquid glue

Kindergarten

  • One regular-size backpack — no small bags

  • One regular-size plastic crayon box

  • One package of glue sticks

  • One pair of scissors — no training scissors

  • 24 pre-sharpened Ticonderoga pencils

  • Two black dry erase markers — Expo brand, if possible

  • Two boxes of 24-count Crayola crayons

  • Three boxes of tissues

  • Two containers of Clorox or Lysol wipes

  • One pair of headphones labeled with your child’s name that can remain at school for the year — no earbuds

First Grade

  • Low-odor dry erase markers and eraser

  • One red, heavy-duty pocket folder

  • One zippered pouch to hold pencils

  • Two boxes of tissues

  • Three containers of Clorox sanitizing wipes

  • One box of gallon-size Ziploc storage bags

  • One box of 2-gallon Ziploc storage bags or one box of sandwich bags

  • 4-by-6-inch lined Post-it notes

  • Headphones

Second Grade
