The Amsterdam Rams wrestling team completed an impressive undefeated league season, finishing 5–0 in Foothills Council dual meets to secure the 2025–26 Foothills Council championship.
Amsterdam also posted a strong 10–1 overall record in dual meets, highlighted by several key victories throughout the season. The Rams opened league action with a commanding 60–18 win over Hudson Falls, setting the tone early. One of the season’s closest contests came against Queensbury, where Amsterdam battled to a 41–34 victory.
The Rams continued their dominant run with a 77–6 win over Schuylerville, followed by a decisive 46–32 victory against South Glens Falls to close out league competition.
With consistent performances across all weight classes and strong team depth, Amsterdam showcased its strength throughout the regular season. The Foothills Council title marks a significant accomplishment for the program and reflects the hard work and dedication of the student-athletes and coaching staff.
