Amsterdam Varsity Baseball opening day

Amsterdam varsity baseball opened its season with a midday game against Broadalbin-Perth, drawing a large crowd of students, families and community members.

Fifth and sixth grade students were transported to the game during the school day, adding to the atmosphere in the stands. Despite rainy and cold conditions, attendance remained strong throughout the game.

Amsterdam fell to Broadalbin-Perth by a score of 9-5. The team continued to compete throughout the game.

The event served as a community gathering, with support from across the district. School officials expressed appreciation for those who attended and supported the team during the season opener.
