Amsterdam High School recognized eight student-athletes during a Signing Day ceremony, celebrating their commitments to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Logan Miller, Hudson Valley Community College
Avery Crain, SUNY Plattsburgh
Toby Rivera-Rodriguez, SUNY Morrisville
Tegan Sullivan, SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College
The ceremony highlighted the dedication, perseverance and hard work each student demonstrated throughout their time at Amsterdam High School, both in the classroom and in competition.
“Athletics teach lessons that extend far beyond the playing field,” Athletic Director John Salls said. “These student-athletes have represented Amsterdam with pride, worked tirelessly to achieve their goals and earned the opportunity to continue competing at the next level. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to see what they achieve in the future.”
Family members, coaches, teammates, teachers and school administrators gathered to celebrate the students’ achievements and recognize the commitment required to balance academics and athletics at a high level.
As they prepare for the next stage of their educational and athletic journeys, the Amsterdam High School community congratulates these student-athletes and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
