Barkley Elementary School recognized students who demonstrated exceptional character during its PBIS Charter Education Award Assembly on Nov. 19.
The assembly celebrated students who best exemplified the school’s monthly traits, including responsibility for September and perseverance for October. Honorees received a certificate of achievement and a Principal BARK Coupon, which can be used to purchase special reward items for following the school’s BARK Rules.
Fifth-grade student presenters assisted in leading the assembly, helping to announce winners and keep the celebration running smoothly.
In addition to the student awards, Barkley Elementary presented the Golden Bulldog Award to Ms. Bella for her outstanding artistic contributions. Ms. Bella was recognized for transforming the calming cube in classrooms over the summer, enhancing the school’s supportive learning environment.
