Mental Health Student Support Coordinator – 2023-24 SY
Job Summary:
Responsible to the Director of Special Education and Student Services and will provide consistency to the myriad services provided by the district for students and support to all administrative staff in the pursuit of student success.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS School Administrator Certification (SDL)
Master’s degree or higher in related field
Preferred Requirements:

Organizational skills

Intervention Support Specialists (2) – District – 2023-24 SY
The Greater Amsterdam School District is searching for two Intervention Support Specialists. Responsible to the Director of Special Education and Student Support Services. The Intervention Specialist will work with district administrators, building leaders and staff to improve the implementation and fidelity of District Multi Tiered Behavior Supports and Systems (MTSS), as well as demonstrate knowledge of culturally Responsive Social Emotional Learning Practices and Trauma Sensitive Practices. Must adept at supporting and implementing data-informed practices, all through a lens of trauma informed and equity. Must be able to build both relationships and systems with a variety of different stakeholders, positively impacting school culture and climate. 10-month position. Salary per the ATA contract.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS Certification (School Psychologist, Behavior Specialist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor or a School Social Worker.
1-2 years of successful experience working with youth
