Students at McNulty Elementary are thinking about their futures through the school’s “Hallway of Dreams” display, which highlights their goals, dreams and plans for the future through student writing and photos.
The activity connects to Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, one of the Leader in Me habits practiced throughout the school. Students are encouraged to think about what they want to achieve and the steps they can take to work toward those goals.
The project also supports conversations about the importance of coming to school each day. Staff have been reinforcing that regular attendance helps students build the knowledge and skills they need to move closer to their goals.
Together, the display serves as a reminder that each school day matters and that every lesson and opportunity can help shape a student’s future.
