Family University, led by the Greater Amsterdam School District, is a collaborative initiative engaging with community agencies to provide complimentary courses, family events, and activities. This program aims to equip families with new skills, knowledge, and resources, fostering confidence to actively participate in their children's education.

The ultimate goal is to enhance parent/guardians involvement in GASD schools, empowering parents to nurture successful children academically and in life. Research indicates that parental engagement positively impacts student morale, attitudes, and academic achievement across various subjects.
