In a spectacular display of unity and support, the Amsterdam Rams, guided by Mr. Ruberti, Mr. Salls, Coach Verrigni, and Ms. Schaefer, triumphed at the SONY Lake George Polar Plunge. The Inclusion Squad plunged into icy waters, emerging as the number one team with an outstanding $15,225 raised!
Coach V's electrifying call to action spurred the team to surpass the $15k milestone within minutes. A special nod to Carolyn Sculco, who secured $4k, earning a well-deserved $1,000 scholarship. The commitment and generosity of over 40 plungers, along with shirts donated by Scott Beatty & State Farm, showcased the true spirit of the Amsterdam Rams.
Representatives from the Special Olympics will visit our school to present the team with their well-deserved trophy, hand Carolyn her well-earned scholarship check, and host a pizza party for our students and teachers. This annual event is such a source of pride for our district and is such a wonderful way to raise money for our community. Congratulations to our Inclusion Squad members and the entire.
