Superintendent Rich Ruberti, alongside Mayor Mike Cinquanti, Sara Boerenko of the Department of Health, and Colleen McHeard, our dedicated lifeguard and aquatics director, came together to build the collaborative efforts between the city, school district, and county. The primary focus of the discussion was the upcoming Family Swim Night, an initiative that focuses on the importance of community engagement.

During the meeting, a surprise was revealed as Sara Boerenko presented a check of $6000. This sum is part of a grant from the New York Swims program, demonstrating a commitment to support and enhance aquatic programs in our community. The funds received will play a pivotal role in covering the expenses of the Family Swim Night program for the upcoming year.

This unexpected contribution underscores the success of our collaborative efforts. As we look forward to the next Family Swim Night, we extend our gratitude to Mayor Mike Cinquanti, Sara Boerenko, and the New York Swims program for their support and commitment to the well-being of our community. Together, we make a splash!
