The Greater Amsterdam School District announces its Athletes of the Week for the 2024 school year.
Winter Athletics
Mia Natale (Basketball)- Made five 3's in a victory over Utica Proctor on Wednesday night. Mia tied the school record for 3 pointers made in a season at 59.
Bryce Greco (Track)- AHS tenth grader Bryce Greco qualified for the N.Y. State Track and Field Championship Meet. Bryce placed second in the triple jump at the state qualifying at HVCC and will represent AHS on March 2, at the state of the art Ocean Breeze track complex on Staten Island. This signifies that Bryce is one of the top triple jumpers in NY state.
