The Greater Amsterdam School District announces its Athletes of the Week for the 2023-24 school year.
Spring Athletics - Week 2
Gianna Crespo (Track)
Jude Flint (Baseball)
Jude Flint (Baseball): seven for eight at the plate - seven RBIs four runs scored, four doubles, go ahead (game winning) home run & was intentionally walked once
Gianna Crespo-Julia (Track): Gianna set two personal records in the highly competitive Niskayuna Spring Invitational. Her times of 5:08 in the 1500M and 2:30 in the 800M have her ranked in the top level of Section II distance running. Gianna is a member of the National Honor Society and is earning college credit in all of her classes.

Aundray Fowler (Track): Last week he won both High Jump & Triple Jump in our League meet against Broadalbin Perth. Over the weekend, he scored in both events and qualified for the state qualifier meet in both events at the Spring Invitational in Niskayuna. His best High Jump was 6'0 & and his best triple jump of the week was 41'6 1/2".
Hunter Morley (LAX): Hunter had 35 saves for a 73% save rate in three big wins; 13 saves came in a 10-9 Foothills win against Scotia.
Sadie Brodie (LAX): Sadie has played outstanding defense. She has demonstrated hustle and battles for every ground ball. She leads by example and shuts down the opposing team offense.
