A regular meeting of the GASD Board of Education will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, in the Media Center of the Amsterdam High School. The meeting is open to the public.
Prior to the board of education meeting the Greater Amsterdam School District will be holding a public hearing regarding the Contract for Excellence (C4E) Program for the upcoming academic 2025-2026 school year. The purpose of this hearing is to solicit stakeholder input and feedback on the Greater Amsterdam School District’s proposed utilization of C4E funds to enhance educational opportunities and improve student achievement within the district.

Public Comment Period
Questions, concerns, or comments regarding the district’s 2025-26 Contract for Excellence proposal can be submitted in writing by July 1, to

or shared at the public hearing, which will be held 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Amsterdam High School Library, 140 Saratoga Ave., before the May 21, Board of Education Meeting.
