Earlier this month, the Annual Tri-M Student/Faculty Showcase brought together Greater Amsterdam School District students, teachers, and support staff for an evening of performance and community engagement.
Held in the Amsterdam High School auditorium, the event featured a variety of acts, including vocal and instrumental solos, band performances, operatic art songs, and a taekwondo demonstration. The showcase gave students and staff the opportunity to share their talents beyond the classroom and build connections across the school community.
The event is an annual tradition organized by the Amsterdam chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. In addition to celebrating the performing arts, the showcase serves as a fundraiser for scholarships awarded to graduating Tri-M seniors. Proceeds from the event support students as they pursue their postsecondary education.
