More than 100 Amsterdam High School juniors and seniors were recognized during the 2025 Awards Ceremony for their academic achievements, leadership, and service. The event, held in the school auditorium, brought together students, families, and staff to celebrate a wide range of accomplishments.
Students from the Class of 2025 were awarded more than $83,000 in scholarships to support their future college and career plans. Dozens of local, regional, and national awards were presented by representatives from community organizations, colleges, and the school district.
In addition to scholarship presentations, the ceremony acknowledged juniors receiving underclass awards and other academic recognitions.
“The Awards Ceremony is an important opportunity to highlight the dedication our students have shown throughout their time at Amsterdam High School,” said Principal Mike Gennett. “We are proud of their achievements and grateful to the many community partners and families who help support their success.”
The district congratulates all award recipients and extends appreciation to the sponsors and supporters who make these recognitions possible each year.
