Unified Bowling

The Greater Amsterdam Unified Bowling Team earned a second-place finish in Division 2 during Section 2 competition last week, marking a strong performance in one of the region’s most competitive divisions.

A total of 41 teams competed in Section 2 and were separated into multiple divisions based on competitive level. Division 2 is widely regarded as the second most challenging division in the section, making the Rams’ runner-up finish a notable achievement.

Throughout the competition, Amsterdam student-athletes demonstrated teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship while competing against some of the top Unified Bowling programs in the region.

District officials praised the team’s effort and commitment, noting that Unified sports programs continue to provide meaningful opportunities for students to compete, build relationships and represent their school community with pride.

The accomplishment reflects the dedication of student-athletes, coaches and supporters who contributed to the team’s successful season.
