Tecler Elementary School combined fun and philanthropy during its annual Pie the Teacher celebration, raising more than $1,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The popular event gave students the opportunity to pie their teachers while supporting an important cause. Throughout the fundraiser, the Tecler school community came together to make a difference for children and families receiving care through St. Jude.
The annual tradition has become a favorite among students and staff, creating lasting memories while reinforcing the importance of kindness, generosity and giving back to others.
“Our Pie the Teacher event is something our students look forward to every year, but what makes it truly special is the opportunity to help others,” said Tecler Principal John Miller. “Raising more than $1,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a testament to the generosity of our students, families and staff. I’m incredibly proud of our school community for turning a fun tradition into something that makes a meaningful impact.”
The fundraiser highlights Tecler’s commitment to building a caring school culture where students learn that even small acts of generosity can make a big difference.
