The Greater Amsterdam School District celebrated its 2026 Hall of Fame Class during an induction ceremony Saturday, Sept. 19, at Meg’s Above Par Dining at the Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course.
This year’s inductees were Dr. Christian Alberto, Richard Allen, Michael Cinquanti, Angelo DiBlasi, Meg Duffy and Robert A. Spagnola in the Academic Wing, along with Timothy Czeski, James “Jimbo” Phelps, Salvatore Sollecito, Bryan Stanavich and Robert “Bobby” Stewart in the Athletic Wing.
The district also recognized the 1994–95 Amsterdam High School Boys’ Basketball Team as the 2026 Legacy Team and honored Bob Malicki, Charlie Brown, Mike DelSanto and Mike Bilicki with the 2026 Butch Miller Award for their longtime service to Amsterdam High School basketball.
