Amsterdam High School juniors and seniors had the opportunity to explore their options after graduation during the CASDA College Fair held Oct. 1.
Hosted by the AHS Guidance Office, the fair welcomed representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy.
Throughout the event, students met directly with representatives to learn more about college programs, admissions and potential career opportunities. Students also participated in a college fair scavenger hunt designed to encourage them to visit a variety of schools, ask questions and explore options they may not have previously considered.
The event provided students in grades 11 and 12 with an opportunity to think about their interests, learn about different pathways and begin planning for life after high school.
The Greater Amsterdam School District thanks the participating colleges, universities and military representatives for spending time with students and helping them explore the many opportunities available after graduation. AHS looks forward to hosting the event again next year.
