Tecler Elementary School welcomed students and families on Oct. 8 for its annual Fall into Math & Reading Night, bringing the school community together for an evening of interactive learning, games, and family fun.
The event, organized by the school's Academic Intervention Services (AIS) teachers, featured hands-on math games, engaging reading activities, and raffle prizes designed to make learning enjoyable for students and their families.
Throughout the evening, families explored interactive learning stations, participated in educational games, and enjoyed snacks. Students also took home resources, games, manipulatives, food or dessert coupons, and prizes to encourage continued learning beyond the classroom.
The school extends its appreciation to Target, McDonald's, Burger King, Walmart, Hannaford, and Price Chopper for their generous donations of snacks, prizes, and coupons that helped make the event possible.
The annual event highlights the importance of family involvement in education while providing students with opportunities to strengthen their reading and math skills in a fun, supportive environment.
