GASD names Athletes of the Week – Fall Athletics Week 1
WINNERS:
Annie Fedullo (Volleyball): She is a senior captain and a FORCE at the net. She led the team with 27 kills, 14 blocks, 6 aces, and 52 points in 2 games. She was a driving force for our Silver Championship in the tournament this weekend.
Conner Adams (XC): Conner dedicated his free time over the summer to run and improve his running ability for this XC season. Saturday in the Blackbird Invitational he ran a 22: 51 for the 5k race. Last year his run time at this same invitational was 28:46. He shaved off over 6 minutes which is a big accomplishment for Conner and this year's XC team.
A Greater Amsterdam School District student has earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs, which celebrate students’ hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance.
Amsterdam High School’s Amani Rivera received the academic honor of National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA).

The Greater Amsterdam School District has announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The induction ceremony and dinner will take place on Friday, September 15 at the Perthshire on Route 30 in north Amsterdam. There will be a reception hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m., followed by the induction ceremony. For more information email halloffame@gasd.org or call or text Rich Allen at (518) 878-6374.
