Christine Dylong orchestrated an achievement at Raphael J McNulty Academy, where 325 STACKERS contributed to breaking the world record for "Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations." In collaboration with 746,698 participants globally, they surpassed the previous record of 737,863. The event underscores the positive impact of Sport Stacking on physical fitness and academic learning, offering a constructive alternative to sedentary activities.

The Greater Amsterdam School District Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing regarding a Repair Reserve Fund Expenditure. The meeting will be held in the Media Center of the Amsterdam High School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The meeting will be open to the public.

The annual POLAR PLUNGE Amsterdam Rams are back and ready to dive in Lake George on Nov 18.



On Saturday, Sept. 23, several members of the GASD are coordinating a fundraiser during the girls and boys varsity soccer games and the junior varsity football game in support of soccer Coach Chris Green, whose son, Luka, is facing unexpected health challenges.

GASD names Athletes of the Week – Fall Athletics Week 1
WINNERS:
Annie Fedullo (Volleyball): She is a senior captain and a FORCE at the net. She led the team with 27 kills, 14 blocks, 6 aces, and 52 points in 2 games. She was a driving force for our Silver Championship in the tournament this weekend.
Conner Adams (XC): Conner dedicated his free time over the summer to run and improve his running ability for this XC season. Saturday in the Blackbird Invitational he ran a 22: 51 for the 5k race. Last year his run time at this same invitational was 28:46. He shaved off over 6 minutes which is a big accomplishment for Conner and this year's XC team.
A Greater Amsterdam School District student has earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs, which celebrate students’ hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance.
Amsterdam High School’s Amani Rivera received the academic honor of National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA).
