Dear Parents and Guardians, We are excited to invite you and your family to the sixth Annual Pumpkin Smash, happening on Saturday, Nov. 2., at Veteran’s Park! Event Details: Location: 205 Locust Ave, Amsterdam, NY Drop-off Starts: 9:00 a.m. Pumpkin Smash: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Activities Include: Smash or toss pumpkins at spiked targets Enjoy cider and donuts Face painting for kids Take a family photo at our selfie station Pumpkin bowling and game tables All smashed pumpkins will go to feed pigs at the Tylutki Family Farm. Jack O’Lanterns and other organic decorations will be composted by Grow Amsterdam’s Compost Works initiative, helping to grow food in our community gardens. Dear Parents & Guardians, The Class of 2027 will be hosting a fun and creative fundraiser, and we would love for you to join us! Event Details: What: Whipped Candle Making Class (choose your scents, colors, toppings, and décor) When: Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost: $30 per person Seats: 16 seats available per day Note: You must prepay via Venmo or CashApp to reserve your spot. HAPPY 2024 PLUNGE TIME! I know it is early but I wanted to get the date out there ASAP. NOVEMBER 23, 2024 is when our Amsterdam Rams Unified Club is going to take the plunge again! Last year, we had almost 50 plungers and raised $15,000. This year, we want up to 75 PLUNGERS and try to raise $20,000!!!! We have two months to look for donations and stack our team. Because of their support, students in the Cultural Artisan class at Amsterdam High School got to design, prep, and paint their very own Barn Quilts. Dear Parents & Guardians, Come spend an evening with the Amsterdam Marching Rams! Let's start the summer off right with some red, white, blue, and a touch of purple. The Amsterdam Marching Rams are thrilled to host Family Night on July 6, from 7-9 p.m., featuring performances by over 80 talented kids. The event will take place at Riverlink Park in Amsterdam, N.Y. We hope to see you there for an evening of music, fun, and community spirit!
